Obama Vs Osama

Well, the whole world (and especially America) seem to be broadcasting and sharing news and videos about how Osama Bin Laden, the icon of terrorism is killed. But the pages of history will always show how America and Osama were close buddies. People have still not forgotten how Presidents of US including Jimmy Carter and Ronald Reagan supported Osama in favour of Afganisthan against Soviet Union for 10 years. After this whatever happened is history. If you think this blog is going to be on history, I would better stop your thought process and say the intention is not that.

What caused my confusion more, further to the reading of news papers and websites about this America-Osama equation is how people change over the period and most importantly use people for their advantage. I also see lot of people, who tweet or post in forums, saying America is wrong (like how I started this blog) quoting all history and how Osama (and terrorism) were nurtured and now shown / project the victory over Osama. Take a deep breath.. Now answer.... Are we not doing what America has done 'conceptually' to Osama, all through our life to others ? Simple, just because our kids should not disturb us in kitchen, we allow kids to watch TV (and dont' watch what they are watching)... In the pretext of respecting our kid's privacy, we introduce them, to having a private room with computer, and worry during their adolescence.... Just because our kids are too young, we tell lies in front of them to our wife, father, mother and indirectly teach them the habit of lying....In the so called 'corporate culture', do we not encourage somebody in our team to fight for us and make that as their habit and then give PA based on their 'habit'.... Do we not give bribe to fast track things and blame the government for corruption... Most importantly, in this money minded, materialistic economy, do we not see everybody as what we are and not how they are; and forget the true color of people around us and our own life ?

Just happened to see a fantastic quote, which says "Personality is, Who we are & What we do, When EVERYBODY is watching. Character is, Who we are & What we do, When NOBODY is watching". Time and again, its proven that, we dont' want to be seen as what we are, by others. We keep changing ourselves, rather our character, not only based on situations, but based on people whom we talk to, whom we meet up with, whom we (intend to) love and hate, in every possible manner. There is never an issue in changing from bad to good, innoncence to intelligent but changing oneself to give a different, or rather mis representation of oneself, is very dangerous and could jeopardize the growth of not just the person concerned but his future generation.

What are we (possibly) trying to achieve by showing as a different person? Money - that is not destianed to be with anybody forever....Fame - that which will not be permanent, if we continue to show different colors....Social Status - Again lasts as long as a sensible (or senseless) person comes on top of us....People - Believe me.... for people who dont' see people as they are, they will not be surrounded by people whom they think they are....

Well we are behaving conceptually in the same way America behaved with Osama not only with people whom we know; but with our future generation, which will ensure more Osamas are made than Obamas.
